The problem it solves
Battlegrounds gives you one attempt per lobby. You commit to a board, the combat resolves, and there is no way to rewind and try the other ordering. The question every player ends up asking — would that have won if I had swapped those two minions? — is precisely the question a live lobby cannot answer.
Tavern Sim is where you answer it. It reproduces the shop phase and the combat phase outside of matchmaking, with the whole card pool available on demand, so a line you are curious about can simply be set up and played out. There is no turn timer, no opponent waiting on you, and no rating attached to being wrong.
What you can do
Rehearse the shop phase
Spend gold, refresh the lineup, freeze what you want to keep, and upgrade the tavern tier — at your own pace. This is the part of Battlegrounds that rewards repetition, and the part a ranked lobby gives you the least room to practise.
Build an exact board and fight it
Drag recruits into your warband of seven and order them deliberately, then resolve the combat and watch it play out. Because you control the setup, you can run the same board twice with one thing changed.
Choose the lobby conditions
The Settings panel owns what a real lobby would randomise for you: which minion tribes are in play, which heroes and hero powers can appear, which anomaly is active, and which trinkets get offered. Answer those questions once and they are remembered, so you land straight in the game the next time.

What languages does Tavern Sim support?
English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The language selector is in the Settings panel, and card names and card text are translated along with the interface.
